Since '97 I'm living in Maldives and finally I don't need to worry about humidity and temperature no more. The Blackbird Ukulele stays in tune any time. Carbon does the trick! The harmony of sound in coherence with clarity and resonance is simply stunning. And yes, for sure I take my Uke to the beach entertaining who ever wants to listen. This instrument you guys created is a real treat to play and hear and I'm really happy and proud to call myself an owner of a Ukulele from Blackbird.
In short, I love the Blackbird ukulele. It is a head turner for sure, and my playing friends who have seen it have played it and all agree it is tops. I love the sound; not wood, it has resonance and a voice that is all it's own that works well by itself and blends in nicely with others in a group. The voice and response is even across all strings no matter how aggressive the attack.
This thing is amazing. Craftsmanship is out of this world!
